Base salary range $100-125K CAD
About the Role:
As the Human Resources Director, you will lead the development and implementation of HR strategies that drive the expansion and sustainability of operations. Key responsibilities include:
  • Having full responsibility for all recruiting needs and collaborating with leadership to identify and fulfill talent requirements.
  • Enhancing employee satisfaction through robust engagement strategies.
  • Administering competitive employee benefits programs.
  • Ensuring compliance with British Columbia HR employment laws and US employment laws, a critical requirement for this role.
  • Managing payroll efficiently and accurately.
  • Leading performance management processes to foster employee development.
  • Overseeing employee investigations and conflict resolution with fairness.
  • Managing HR Information Systems and implementing HR metrics for effectiveness.

Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
  • HR certifications preferred.
  • Over 7 years of HR experience, with required experience in the manufacturing sector.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of employment regulations in both British Columbia and the US.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
