When an aircraft comes off lease, gets sold, or retires, dozens of moving parts have to land at the same time: records, inspections, maintenance work, lessor sign-offs, and deadlines that don't move. A major U.S. airline is looking for the person who runs those projects from start to finish. You'll keep every asset's documentation complete and audit-ready, coordinate the teams involved, and represent the airline with lessors and buyers. If you're the person who loves a well-run project and a perfectly organized records package, this is your seat.

About the opportunity

Our client is a major U.S. airline, and this role sits in Dallas, TX on its Fleet Transactions team. You'll manage the projects that move aircraft and engines through lease returns, sales, retirements, and acquisitions. You'll own the documentation behind each asset, making sure records are accurate, complete, and ready when lessors, buyers, auditors, or inspectors ask for them. You'll work across maintenance planning, engine planning, and leadership to keep each project on schedule. And you'll be the go-to person for the status of every leased and retiring asset in the fleet.
