Ready to run the books, not just keep them? A growing, privately held aerospace distributor in Fort Worth is looking for a hands-on Accounting Manager to work directly with the CFO and own the monthly close, balance sheet reconciliations, and audit and bank field exam prep. This is a lean, under $50M organization, meaning you'll have real visibility into the business and a direct line to leadership, not a seat buried in a large finance department.
What you'll do:
- Manage the month end close, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Partner with the CFO on financial analysis, process improvements, and compliance
- Coordinate deliverables for financial, regulatory, and bank audits
- Work cross functionally across G/L, A/P, A/R, Tax, Billing, and Payroll
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a smaller, privately held company
- CPA or Big Four background a plus, not required
- Strong GAAP knowledge and the confidence to lead and influence at every level
This is an opportunity to work 1-2 days remotely and then partner in the office with leadership the other days in the Fort Worth office.
