Ready to be the CFO who sits at the decision-making table, not just reports to it?An established, multi-site material handling and industrial solutions company based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, with operations across the U.S. and Canada, is looking for its next Chief Financial Officer. They are seeking a strategic, highly credible, and people-centered CFO to join its executive leadership team. The CFO will provide financial leadership, enterprise-wide business insight, and trusted guidance to the CEO, Board of Directors, investors, and key stakeholders.
This role requires a dynamic leader who combines financial expertise with exceptional communication, integrity, and a proven ability to build high-performing teams. You will lead long-term financial strategy, acquisition and investment analysis, risk management, capital planning, and organizational growth while fostering a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement. Your key responsibilities include:
Strategic Financial Leadership
- Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the organization’s short- and long-term plans and serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and Executive Leadership Team on financial performance, market conditions, capital allocation, and enterprise risk.
- Lead organizational audit planning, forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling initiatives; provide proactive, data-driven recommendations that support growth, profitability, operational excellence, and shareholder value.
- Manage financial evaluation, due diligence, valuation analysis, and integration planning for mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and other strategic opportunities.
- Assess risks, synergies, operational impacts, and long-term value creation associated with potential transactions.
- Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and transparency of all financial reporting and disclosures.
- Oversee treasury management, cash flow optimization, capital structure, debt management, and liquidity planning.
- Develop strategies to mitigate financial, operational, regulatory, and economic risks.
- Prepare and deliver high-quality financial presentations, reports, and recommendations to the Board of Directors while serving as a key liaison with investors, lenders, auditors, regulators, and external advisors.
- Translate complex financial information into meaningful business insights for diverse audiences.
Financial Operations and Governance
- Guarantee compliance with all applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, governance requirements, and internal controls.
- Oversee financial systems, reporting processes, and performance measurement frameworks.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, scalability, and decision-making capabilities.
As the successful candidate you would have 10+ years of progressive financial leadership, including time in a CFO seat. In addition, you would have a CPA and comfort operating across and within US and Canada. Multi-currency experience and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) knowledge is critical.
