Be the person the CFO can’t run the day without
This is a high-trust, high-visibility role supporting the CFO of a global, multibillion-dollar company headquartered right here in Fort Worth, Texas. You’ll sit at the center of the finance organization, with a front-row view of how a business at real scale actually runs. If you’re the kind of person who finds genuine satisfaction in bringing order to a busy executive’s world — and quiet pride in being the reason nothing slips — keep reading.
What you’ll be doing
-
Owning a complex, ever-shifting calendar and protecting the CFO’s time like it’s the most valuable resource in the building (because it is)
- Coordinating board meetings, audit committee sessions, and investor touchpoints — from scheduling and logistics to pulling materials together so everyone walks in prepared
- Serving as the trusted gatekeeper and first point of contact, deciding what reaches the CFO and what you can handle yourself
- Managing travel end to end, including the inevitable last-minute reroutes, so the only thing the CFO thinks about is the meeting on the other side
- Preparing and polishing presentations, agendas, and reports — clean, accurate, and ready to share
- Handling expenses, approvals, and the steady stream of administrative details that keep the office running smoothly
- Acting as a liaison across the finance team, fellow executives, and external partners, often speaking on the CFO’s behalf
You’ll thrive here if
-
You anticipate rather than react, and you’d rather solve a problem before anyone knows it existed
- Calm is your default setting, even when three things land at once
- You communicate cleanly and warmly with everyone from the front desk to the boardroom
- You’re genuinely organized — not “color-coded folders” organized, but the kind that holds up under pressure
- You’ve supported a senior executive before and know the rhythm of the role
What we’re looking for
-
Several years of executive support experience, ideally backing a C-level leader
- Comfort operating in a finance, professional services, or similarly fast-paced environment
- Fluency with calendar, travel, and document tools, and the judgment to know which task deserves your attention first
- A track record of handling confidential matters with complete discretion
