Responsibilities:

Lead and manage all accounting operations, including financial reporting, general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, and cost accounting.

Mentor and grow the accounting team, fostering continuous learning and growth.

Ensure the timely and accurate closure of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, both internal and external, while ensuring compliance with financial regulatory requirements, including SEC reporting standards.

Implement robust internal controls to safeguard revenue, costs, and budgets plus monitor cash flow and supervise financial transactions.

Prepare for and manage annual audits and quarterly financial reviews.

Collaborate with tax advisors to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.

Engage in strategic financial analyses and support scaling operations effectively including supporting potential M&A activities through financial due diligence and company integration.

Partner with senior leadership to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts, providing insightful variance analysis to guide strategic decisions.
Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; MBA or Master of Accounting is preferred.

CPA certification is required, with the ability to conduct technical accounting research.

At least 8 years of accounting experience, including 5 years in leadership roles.

Validated leadership skills with the ability to cultivate a high-performing team.

Expertise in U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and SOX compliance.

Manufacturing experience is critical.

Familiarity with NetSuite or similar ERP systems is preferred.

Proficient in advanced Excel functions, including financial modeling.

Strong communication skills, capable of presenting complex financial details to senior management.
