What you will do in the role -

  • Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and in accordance with Federal, State, and Local laws.
  • Review and audit data entries/changes in employee records, including new hires, terminations, pay changes, direct deposit, and tax elections.
  • Handle payroll batch information (time clock entries, bonuses, and other compensation variables).
  • Calculate and process short-term disability payments, administer wage attachments (child supports, garnishments, tax levies) in compliance with state guidelines.
  • Conduct payroll audits for accuracy and balance.
  • Generate and distribute payroll reports.
  • Address and resolve payroll-related inquiries.

Bring with you -

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in multi-jurisdictional payroll with knowledge of payroll concepts, compliance, and practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suites and related software.
  • Prefer a Professional Payroll Certification (FPC or CPP) or actively working toward it.
  • Experience with UKG for payroll processing, transaction management, OM/PA processing, running reports, and wage type knowledge.
